Meetings:
Our regular club meetings will begin in April, as always we will try to hold them the 2nd Saturday of each month. I will continue to remind everyone at least a week prior to the meeting. If you have an email address PLEASE get it to me. This is very important as mailing out notices is very costly and time consuming. The club now has a website; although it is still a work in progress you may visit it www.mmatvc.org.
Second club meeting of the year Saturday, May 10, 2008, 11:00 am Butch's camp with cook out to follow.

May 10th Meeting
The meeting was called to order at 11:00 at the Spencer camp.
Treasurer's Report: Butch Spencer reported that we have $ 5030.78 in the treasury. He noted that check numbers 136 and 138 have not yet been cashed and we will wait until June to cancel them. Vern Brigham needs to verify that we no longer want Jill MacDonald and Courtney Nolan on the MMATVC checkbook. Motion to that effect was made and seconded and approved by the members present. Vern and Butch need to sign to place $ 1000.00 in the "radio fund" (MMATV-Repeater). Statements now go to Butch's residence on Red Oak Hill Road in Warren, NH. Treasurer's report accepted by the members present. Old Business: Charles Hall suggested that we update the bylaws. Terry Sylvester will review them and report at next month's meeting. Ride dates for instate rides are on the club website. Check the website for our club's food pantry ride on August 16th and the Old Home Day Parade followed by a poker run on July 12th. Vern will check with Nault's to see if they would like to set up a booth for Old Home Days. Terry Sylvester spoke about radios and the proposed repeater. He noted that he had obtained permission from John King to set up a 50-watt repeater and 60-foot tower on Sentinel Mountain. Terry is working on the proposal. New Business: There is only one more meeting prior to Old Home Days. It will be at Butch and Marie Spencer's camp on June 14th at 1100. We will review the plans for the poker run. At this time, the poker run schedule shows Scott and Meredith at Meador Pond; Steve, Jen and Alec at the swimming hole and Charles Hall at Hildreth Dam. The slot at corridor 5 and Weeks Crossing needs to be filled. Terry and Vern are on a committee in Wentworth that is studying proposals to open trails in that town. They are due to report in a month. A motion was made, seconded and passed by the members present that Dan Clancey be appointed interim club secretary until the next election is held according to the club bylaws. A motion was made, seconded and passed by the members present to accept future Wentworth Town trail systems into our club system. Meeting adjourned at 12:30 PM
