This is a letter that we received from the Warren Police Dept.

Mount Moosilauke ATV Club
P.O. Box 23
Warren, NH 03279

Dear Vern:

I wanted to take a moment and express to you, all of our club members, and our guests who participated in the events during Old Home Days here in Warren. From my observation as well as the observation of many other people; the people with ATVs did a fantastic job of representing the organization as well as ATVs in general. I am proud to say that on behalf of the Warren Police Department; ATVs are indeed welcome in our community and as long as the behavior and demeanor that we witnessed this weekend continues, ATVs will remain an important part of the day to day life in our community as well as our industry of tourism.

The example that is set by you as well as other members will undoubtedly have an impact on the perception that the citizens have on ATVs.

Keep up the good work!

NOTICES

1) While our trails are open for winter riding PLEASE do not ride them when it is above freezing. Ruts make it harder to groom for the snowmobile club. Respect this rule and our winter riding will continue next year.

2) Once the trails close for the season to snow mobiles only the corridor and Meador Pond trails will be open until May 23rd. All other trails will be closed for “mud season”

3) Our club now has three two way radios. These will be available for sign out by club members while riding our trails. If you are coming up with a group it could be a great safety measure as cell phones do not work here. Contact Terry or Vern for info. Other clubs have expressed an interest in this as well and it may become a statewide ATV channel.

4) Warren and Terry are working on new trail maps. We hope to have these ready by the end of “ mud season”

5) Memberships run out June 30th unless purchased or given after January 1st 2008. Please renew with the online form if possible Membership Renewal Form. Also please give your e-mail address because it is much cheaper for the club to send the news letter in that form.

Thank You.
